Holty Hooves' Betty Blue has provided the most luxurious travel experience my horse has ever had. The box is modern and spacious, with a gently sloping ramp that closes smoothly. My mare isn’t the easiest to load—she’s often suspicious of horseboxes—but she’s been happily loading into Betty without hesitation.

Inside, the box is equipped with excellent air conditioning and a soothing blue lighting system, which helps keep things calm and cool during summer trips. I hired Betty for a week-long camp in Wales in summer 2025. Due to unexpected heavy traffic, our journey ended up taking seven hours, but my mare arrived in great spirits, having travelled comfortably the entire way.

Driving Betty was a pleasure too—she’s very easy to handle, so I wasn’t nearly as tired as I might have been otherwise. Holty Hooves’ online booking system made it simple to check availability and calculate the total cost. The booking process was straightforward, and Ian and Gabby were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. Thoroughly recommended.

Ian was incredibly helpful and accommodating with a late drop off, the lorry Betty Blue immaculate and so easy to drive. I’m a convert!
